After YEARS of hating beer, I actually found a Belgian beer I liked – it is a fruit beer (yes, I know, how girlie of me), but not too sweet. Of course, I can’t remember the name of it so have to go back to the Belgian place to eat soon (not exactly a hardship).
Casey, was it a lambic? Perhaps a Lindeman’s Lambic? Very tasty Belgian fruity “girly” beer. We drink it as a champagne substitute for toasts on New Years Eve and occasions like that.

Ah, nothing to be ashamed of with lambics. You might try Boddington’s for non-fruit-flavored beer. It’s very, very smooth.

Boddington’s is actually another beer I enjoy and I’m really not a beer drinker. Dave is trying to “fix” that, however.
